When it rains it pours....

Unfortunately I am not talking about real moisture from the sky though. Which is a shame, since we haven't had rain here for months and things are looking very crunchy and dry.

It has been super busy here, hence the lack of posts since the sink broke.  I have been running around like a headless chook trying to organise H's Birthday. He will be 10 years old tomorrow and we are having a spooky/Halloween style party on the weekend.

There isn't an abundance of shops that sell spooky themed party products so I have been scouting around on line for some props.

The plan was to go to Dubbo this week (2 hour drive) and get all my supplies as well as the very special present.

It all went pear-shaped and I decided I just don't have time to do everything, so I ordered things and have had them freighted to me. Including the special present.

While I was organising this, I received a phone call from my boys teacher at the School saying that F had a collision in the playground with his friend and his top teeth were hanging by a thread. The teacher took F to the dentist, and when I arrived at the school, he had no teeth. They x-rayed and removed both front baby teeth and the seconds should grow back ok.

Apparently there was a lot of blood, and F was extremely good about the whole drama. He gets to eat all the things he loves to eat, so he was rather pleased about the whole incident. He got a special award at School too "for being so brave".

 Here's to a drama-less weekend!

  1. Oh my goodness, poor F! If there's any consolation, at least they were his baby teeth. Hope you have some fun at the party on the weekend and let's hope we all get some much needed rain very soon. xx
